The company

A custom formulation and contract manufacturing company in the American Midwest. Roughly 15 employees across four departments: sales, admin, lab, and production. The company serves brands ranging from early-stage startups to established prestige labels.

By the end of the prior year, they'd already demonstrated exceptional growth — revenue up 57% year-over-year, with a dramatic profitability swing from a net loss to healthy six-figure profits. Payroll grew just 3.5% while the team absorbed significantly more volume.

The approach
