A custom formulation and contract manufacturing company in the American Midwest. Roughly 15 employees across four departments: sales, admin, lab, and production. The company serves brands ranging from early-stage startups to established prestige labels.

Respite was engaged as an embedded consulting partner — not an AI vendor installing tools, and not a traditional consultancy producing slide decks from a distance.
The model was hands-on, AI-augmented organizational transformation across four operational pillars: sales, admin and operations, lab and R&D, and production. The consultant embedded directly in the organization — sitting in on team meetings, observing management dynamics, auditing live processes, coaching managers through difficult conversations, and identifying gaps that only surface from inside the operation.
